Salisa Resort

Right on the beach front of Sunrise Beach, overlooking sunrise obviously. Stunning location. So near to Koh Kla secret beach where you can rent a kayak/paddle board from reception at a fraction of local market prices. Easy walk to both ends of sunrise beach and just 3 minutes from Walking Street. The restaurant n bar serves marvellous Thai food a very competitive prices compared to walking street area, but it has a great advantage... it's on the beach with an incredible view. The massage centre has an amazing view, choose the room upstairs for an 'upgraded' viewing while you enjoy their expert hands working on you. We had the aromatheraphy massage and it was easily the best we have had in all Thailand, had it 3 days in a row. That should speak volumes. Staff are courteous and friendly, rooms are spotlessly clean and toilet paper with water given daily. Breakfast could do better but on off season with minimal customers, it was acceptable.

The staff and the location are AMAZING!! we were there 3 weeks and were so sad to have to leave! Definitely going back! About a month ago a boat wrecked on coral just off shore so now you can snorkel it from the hotel. At low tide the water is only waist deep and you can walk to the island off shore. We stayed in the standard room and had no complaints even though they are definitely older than the other rooms onsite. We found the onsite restaurant to have better prices for the quality of what you got then on walking street ( 6 min walk away) They will come get you from the ferry and take you back ( free of charge) so that is super convenient!

Travel We were a group of 9 people and traveled by ferry from Langkawi. The staff at Salisa already messaged me even before we left Langkawi and told us that they would be waiting for us at the jetty. They were prompt at receiving us and our bags were efficiently transported back to the resort and the rooms were ready even though we arrived before check-in time. Chalets We took 3 different chalets, the Bungalow with Sea View, the Bungalow-Sea Breeze, and the Deluxe Double Room. The Deluxe Double room and Bungalow with Sea View were facing the beach while the Sea Breeze was slightly smaller and just behind the sea view. All rooms were clean and well-maintained. Food There is a restaurant right at the resort that serves excellent Thai seafood and there was a BBQ every night for three hours with the freshest seafood. You can also walk to the walking street which is only about 10 minutes and there are plenty of eateries and bars there as well. View The view from this resort is excellent and the beach is very clean as well. We also managed to watch the moonrise on the first day we were there.

The villa is the most beautifully designed hotel space we’ve ever stayed at, the most beautiful resort design on the entire sunrise beach as well. The little balcony on the second floor facing the ocean was a nice addition for chilling at night. We are vegan and were very happy to see that there were several types of fresh fruits at breakfast, included in the stay. They had 2 umbrellas and 2 beach bags in the room, which was a very considerate touch.

The bungalow was clean, cute and what we expected for this price range. It is a basic well cared for resort. We at breakfast in the restaurant and other meals in the town/walking street.
